2nd Annual Paws & Purpose: A Community Celebration

This year we're excited to partner with the James H. Barrow Biological Field Station of Hiram College to feature their Ohio wildlife ambassadors. Join us in celebrating animals, education, and conservation! 

Between demonstrations, join us for complementary pup cups and ice cream floats. 

Prior to our event, raffle baskets will be available at our three clinic locations. Donations will be made directly to the local wildlife rehabilitation facilities including the Hiram Field Station. 

Field Station Feature: Meet Claire and Rebecca

Claire Partin oversees daily animal care, enrichment, and management for our animal ambassadors as well as wildlife rehabilitation patients. All the while mentoring students in proper animal husbandry and care techniques. She also assists with educational programs for the public and manages research projects. 

Rebecca Moore assists the Curator of Animal Programs with running the Animal Care & Husbandry Department through mentoring students, staff, working with donors, and assisting with recruiting and admissions events. Rebecca will be joining us this year to showcase the Ohio wildlife ambassadors of the Hiram Field Station!

Schedule: 

2pm: Wildlife ambassador demonstration and information session

3pm: Canine rehabilitation demonstrations from our very own Aurora K9 Fit featuring Robin Rosen-Sharp DVM, CCRP, Christine Koporc MS, and demo dog Reese

4pm: Wildlife ambassador demonstration and information session

4:30pm: Raffle drawing on Facebook Live
