Born in Maple Heights, Ohio and raised in Auburn township, Ohio Dr. Kim Zalewski discovered a profound calling in a profession centered on building connections with people and positively influencing the health and well-being of their furry family members.

During her undergraduate years at Hiram College, there was a unique opportunity to shadow as a Pre-Veterinary student at the Aurora Veterinary Clinic under the mentorship of Dr. Jennifer Kartley. The dynamic culture of the practice along with the passionate care for clients and patients alike as well as a progressive commitment to continuing education ignited a strong desire for Dr. Zalewski to become an integral part of this team.

Her clinical journey began as a veterinary assistant at the Aurora Veterinary Clinic before venturing onto veterinary school at Ohio State. After graduating The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, Dr. Zalewski joined the AACC team in July 2017 as an associate veterinarian.

Dr. Zalewski holds special interests in feline medicine, dentistry, surgery, and ultrasound. Holding degrees from Hiram College (2010) and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (2015), she is currently affiliated with the OVMA, AVMA and is Fear Free Certified

Outside the clinic, Dr. Zalewski is married to her husband Dan and together they have two daughters who keep them very busy. Her additional family members include her two cats Cheetos and Ollie, a senior husky/lab mix named Cali (pictured above), and two goldfish.
