Meet The Kennel Team

Sue originally joined Aurora Kennel in the Spring of 2012 as a part-time kennel assistant. She then became our Kennel Manager in August of 2014. Since then, she and her Aurora Kennel staff pride themselves in caring for each and every furry friend boarder as if they were their own.

Jimmie joined our team in June 2025, bringing with her a lifelong love for animals and a passion for caregiving. After making a change in her career, she found a calling in providing comfort and care to the pets entrusted to us.

Ashley started working for the kennel in February 2025. She is a junior in high school and she plans on continuing her education at The Ohio State University.

David started at the Aurora Kennel in September 2025. He grew up in Aurora and loves his job here at the kennel! David likes having a job with a true purpose; caring for each and every pet that boards with us as if they were part of his own family.

Mattie started working at the Aurora Kennel in April 2025. Mattie is a senior at Aurora High School and plans on attending Kent State University after graduating. Mattie plays the clarinet in the school band and has a lab/terrier mix named Chloe.

Norina started working at the Aurora Kennel in July 2025. She's a senior from Ravenna attending Maplewood Career Center. She has two dogs at home- Storm and Jaxson, and three cats- Dash, Bella, and Violet.
