The Role
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the comprehensive care we provide to our patients at Aurora Animal Care Center. Your responsibilities will include:
- Restraint and assistance during completion of exams
- Development and review of treatment plans with owners and follow up communications
- Completion of patient diagnostics and treatments
- Collaboration with entire team and training of support staff
- Completion of Fear Free Certification
- Completion of continuing education regarding veterinary medicine advancements utilized in the practice
- Assist Registered Veterinary Technicians in caring for surgical patients

Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Transportation to all three locations
- Ability to work night and weekend shifts
