The Role
As a Registered Veterinary Technician with an active license in Ohio, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the comprehensive care we provide to our patients at Aurora Animal Care Center. Your responsibilities will include:
- Direct oversight of surgical procedures and anesthetic monitoring
- Completion of COHAT in a dedicated dental suite
- Restraint and assistance during completion of exams
- Development and review of treatment plans with owners and follow up communications
- Triage of emergent and urgent patients during clinic hours
- Completion of patient diagnostics and treatments
- Collaboration with entire team and training of support staff
- Completion of Fear Free Certification
- Completion of continuing education regarding veterinary medicine advancements utilized in the practice

Qualifications
- Current RVT License in good standing in the state of Ohio
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Transportation to all three locations
- Ability to work night and weekend shifts
