Shaelynn

Shaelynn joined Aurora Animal Care Community in January of 2024. Her dedication to compassionate animal care started many years ago after her time as a pet stylist. There she cultivated an appreciation for the well-being of animals. Shaelynn's dedication to vet med extends into her love of learning new skills and technical knowledge which she utilizes while in the clinic. With a special interest in emergency and critical care, she strives to provide the highest standard of care to every patient in her care. In February 2026, she graduated from Penn Foster College obtaining her RVT license. Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by her certifications in basic and advanced life support (Recover ALS & BLS) as well as her professional qualifications as a certified pet stylist and Fear Free Certified Groomer and Assistant. 

At home, Shaelynn is surrounded by her three dogs Brody, Zara, and Molly pictured above. Together they enjoy exploring the outdoors through hiking and participating in dog sports. Shaelynn and her dog Zara have excelled in the sport of Dock Diving earning the title of regional champion in 2023 and an international championship title in international dog sports in 2023. She also volunteers her time as a certified judge for these sporting events.
