Dr. Kara Song

Relief Veterinarian


Dr. Song grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Houghton College in Western New York. She then continued west to attend veterinary school at The Ohio State University where she graduated in May 2018.

She is excited to be part of the team at Aurora and Streetsboro. She looks forward to creating long-lasting relationships with patients and clients. Her professional interests include orthopedics, cardiology, behavior, and preventative medicine. Dr. Song is also fear free certified and looks forward to taking the fear out of veterinary visits for your pets.

Dr. Song resides in Stow with her husband and their two dogs: an Aussie mix, Sadie, who she adopted during vet school and her energetic Golden Retriever, Caspian.

When not working, Dr. Song enjoys baking, reading, and hiking. She has participated in Pelotonia which is a bike ride that raises money for cancer research. She also enjoys serving on veterinary mission trips with Christian Veterinary Mission. She has served in Nicaragua and Honduras.

She is currently affiliated with the OVMA, AVMA and is Fear Free Certified
